 The HOPE Center was Founded by Janie
Dyment, M.A., MS., a long-time professional
and family member of individuals with special
needs along with Dr. John C. Burke. The HOPE
Center provides screening, assessments,
program development, intervention, training and
technical assistance.
We are prepared to work with individuals of all
ages who have difficulties in social and
communication areas of development with a
specialty in Autism Spectrum Disorders.
While we provide direct services, we also act
as a “quarterback” to help guide the family and
their team members through the complex and
potentially conflicting maze of recommendations
from service providers.
We work collaboratively with schools and other
agencies in program development to help ensure
that individuals receive comprehensive
